requisite, an assurance may be given to the Government of

Japan that the Colony's legislation and practice in res-

pect of inventions, designs, and trade marks will be made

identical with that of the linited Kingdom. The Colonial

office have slac informed the Board that if -a și ilar

assurance is required in regard to Teihaiwei it can be

given.
